A school curriculum is broad and comprises a lot of information. To best communicate this to you, our curriculum information is broken down as follows.
At Crampton Primary School, our curriculum is designed to recognise children's learning, provide first hand learning experiences and develop a broad range of knowledge and skills.
Information outlining longer term objectives and plans for each subject, see below.
These documents provide year group specific information about what your child will be learning during the school year. These documents can be found under Reception Class (EYFS) or Curriculum Maps for children in Key Stages One or Two.
If you have any further questions regarding the curriculum we teach, please contact the school directly.
At Crampton Primary School we follow the National Curriculum programmes of study. These have been carefully linked through our cross curricular units that have high quality core texts at their heart to foster a love of reading.
Our Cross Curricular units of learning is designed to provide children with a broad education equipping them with the knowledge, aptitudes and skills they require to learn and live a full and productive life within their community.
These half termly units are planned to offer our children a stimulating, exciting and engaging curriculum which creates a love of learning in our children.
Regular trips are organised so that children can gain first hand experiences and benefit from the many historical and cultural advantages that London has to offer.
Our curriculum enables learners to develop a sense of place and how they fit into the world whilst using it as a Launchpad in creating life-long thinkers who are able to explore and discuss big ideas.
