Remote Learning Strategy for Parents

This document sets out the school’s provision in the event of class closure, and absence, due to COVID-19.

In the event of a class bubble closure, or a full school lockdown, the school’s plan for learning will include:

Daily lessons on seesaw.

Teachers will upload daily activities on seesaw and will respond to these, as appropriate.
Daily ‘live’ lessons.

Each class will offer at least one daily whole class live lesson, via Zoom.

MyMaths activities

Maths activities will continue to be set on MyMaths for Years 1-6.

When children are self-isolating due to COVID-19, the school’s plan for learning will include:

Daily activities on seesaw

To allow pupils to keep up with work covered in class, teachers will upload to seesaw.

This will either be a copy of the slides used that day in class, or it will be a link to a lesson from Oak National, or BBC Learning.

MyMaths activities

Maths activities will continue to be set on MyMaths for Years 1-6.
