  • School Journey Update

    Thu 06 Jun 2019

All the children have had and are still having a great time on the farm! The weather has been kind to them, apart from a little rain on Tuesday afternoon.

This is the last full morning on the farm completing all the general tasks, there is a slight change to the timetable where the group will have their village walk this afternoon followed by the pop-up shop early evening.

The final group will make their last evening rounds of the farm before packing their bags ready for the trip home tomorrow.

  • School Journey

    Wed 05 Jun 2019

The children attending this year's school journey to Nethercott Farm, Devon, arrived safely on Monday afternoon.

After their induction and tour of the farm they had time to relax in the evening before the farm tasks started on Tuesday morning.

The group had an early start letting out the animals for the day and giving them their morning feed before finally settling down themselves for a well earned rest and a hearty breakfast.

The rest of the day was continuing with various farm tasks, they did have some rain in the afternoon, but that did not stop them!

During the week, all the children will have a chance to work with the farm animals and take part in other farm and garden tasks.

On Wednesday afternoon they will all take part in a village walk and forest school activities.
