We are now in our second week of our new lunch provision with Juniper Ventures, and we’re delighted to share how smoothly the transition has gone. The children have responded incredibly positively to the new menu — many have been eager to try new dishes, and we’ve seen lots of empty plates and happy faces.

The variety, freshness, and quality of the meals have already made a noticeable difference to lunchtime, and staff have commented on how enthusiastic pupils have been about exploring new flavours.

We will continue to monitor the provision closely and gather pupil feedback to ensure the service remains high‑quality and enjoyable for everyone.

We are pleased to announce that we have appointed a new catering provider, Juniper Ventures, who will now be operating our school kitchen. Juniper are committed to delivering nutritious, balanced meals that meet the needs of all pupils.

At Crampton, all school meals will continue to be cooked on site using high‑quality ingredients to provide healthy and nutritious choices for both children and staff. Each day, pupils can choose from a hot meal option, freshly made sandwiches, or jacket potatoes. A daily dessert is offered, along with alternatives such as fresh fruit, yoghurt, and cheese and crackers. Fresh drinking water and chilled semi‑skimmed milk are always available.

We take great care in sourcing our ingredients. Fresh fruit and vegetables are supplied by selected farms across Kent, and our fresh meat comes from a trusted butcher. All produce is fully traceable and quality‑controlled to ensure the highest standards.
