Year 6 have been passionately designing festive felt ornaments and applying key Design and Technology concepts in preparation for the Christmas Fair
Visit to the Imperial War Museum - 4th October
Year 6 had a very busy day at the Imperial War Museum. They began the day by meeting Lee, who served in the British Army, and Brenda, who, at the age of 6, was evacuated from London during WWII. The children listened
intently to their experiences and were able to ask some really pertinent questions. Following this valuable session, we went into the main gallery where the children were able to direct their own learning by examining and reading about the objects on display.
Today's trip will be very useful as we continue our History topic of World War Two.
