Year 4 had an amazing day out on the London Eye and exploring landmarks on the River Thames cruise!
Art - 18th January
Miss. Flaherty's afternoon art group started work on their art project. The group are making a model of Mount Merapi, the volcano that is featured in the class reading book 'A Firework Makers Daughter' by Philip Pullman.
Westminster Abbey - 23rd November
Year 4 loved their visit to Westminster Abbey today to learn about Christian Worship. It was great to see some fantastic London landmarks in the sun too!
Black Cultural Archives - 31st October
Year 4 really enjoyed their trip to the Black Cultural Archives in Brixton. It was really interesting to learn about what life was like for the Windrush generation!
Mandir Temple Visit - 19th October
Year 4 has a fantastic day at the Neasden Mandir. We learnt a lot about Hindu Worship and customs and particularly enjoyed taking part in the morning Arti ceremony!
School Food Matters - 10th October
Year 4 worked with Sharon (Chef) from School Food Matters to create a healthy filled wrap.
As part of our art topic, Year 4 went on a local walk the Brandon Estate to sketch one of Henry Moore's sculptures.
Year 4 visited the British Museum today as part of our Ancient Egyptians Topic
Year 4 made models of teeth using different colours to distinguish between the incisors, canines and molars.
