We are very excited to be celebrating World Book Day from
Monday 2nd March to Friday 6th March!
Here are just some of the ways we will celebrate our love of reading.
Book Swap
Each child should bring in a book (or books) they have read, loved and do not need anymore and at the end of the week will be able to choose a different book to take home.
Please only send in high quality fiction, nonfiction or poetry books by Tuesday 3rd March.
Reading Competition
How many minutes a day can you spend reading during Book Week?
All children will be given a tracker to log their minutes and the children in each class who have spent the longest over the week will receive a book related prize!
Book Review
We will be holding Crampton's first book review competition. All children are invited to review a book they have read recently. Reviews are to be handed to Miss. Hoyle (Year 6) by Thursday 5th March.
Dressing Up
Children can come into school dressed as a character they love on Friday 6th March. Please remember, shop bought costumes including Disney Princesses, Super Heroes and Football kits are not allowed.
Please send in a £1.00 donation with your child on Friday to help us continue to update our classroom libraries.
